How can my PI be used for targeted advertising by third parties?

There are two types of information that may be seen or used by third parties.

The first is content that you post publicly on our Site. Our Site has different areas with opportunities for you to engage publicly. For example, our products have reviews sections and we have a blog that allows for comments. When you post on our Site, this public post may be displayed on our Site. By doing so, you acknowledge that your post can and will be viewable by others. We are not responsible for the privacy of any information that is posted in these public forums.

The second is your PI that we share with third parties to better understand our business and to do targeted advertising. We use Google Analytics to better understand how visitors are engaging with our Sites and our advertisements. Please see the next section on how to opt out of Google's data collection for these purposes. You can also learn more about how Google uses PI using this link.

For targeted advertising, we work with third party advertising platforms and providers, such as Instagram and Facebook. This information is used to help us try to better understand your interests, so that we can serve you ads and communicate with you in a way that is best suited for your interests. There is no guarantee that our use of your PI will be successful in doing so, but we believe it helps us reduce errors. When we share information with third parties for this use case, your information is anonymize. Please see the next section on how to opt out of various data collections.

Lastly, your PI may, in rare cases, be used to comply with laws and regulations. For example, if we receive a court ordered subpoena or search warrant.
